Schools, Nurseries and other child care settings can also refer on parent's behalf by using the appropriate referral form below:

Please note that to use these forms signed parent/carer consent is needed. Any referrals without consent will not be accepted.

If you are referring a child because of concern over their speech sounds then please download and complete the Wychavon Speech screen tool. This is a brief assessment that helps us to screen the referral and give appropriate early advice if possible.

Support and advice

Communication is a complex skill that develops gradually over time from the moment a child is born. It is important that children develop a firm foundation of earlier skills such as listening and playing so that they can successfully develop later skills such as using tricky sounds and spelling.

Drop-ins

We run drop‑in sessions for parents and carers of children aged 0 — 4, offering advice and support with your child’s speech, language, and communication.

These sessions give you the opportunity to talk with a Speech and Language Therapist about any concerns you may have. No appointment is necessary.
